Since focusing our Health of the Metropolitan Detroit Community program area to Early Childhood Health Intervention and Access to Quality Healthcare, we have supported many exciting and impactful programs. These include a grant to expand the Nurse Family Partnership Program through Detroit Wayne County Health Authority and a grant to CLEARCorps Detroit, addressing lead and asthma education and remediation for families across Detroit. Additionally, tremendous early success has been experienced by the Brightmoor Health Collaborative through a grant to William Beaumont Hospital. We plan to assess how focusing on these two problem areas is enhancing the impact of our grantmaking in the community.
